IPL 2022 Mega Auction Date
The IPL 2022 mega auction is set to take place in Bengaluru next year, February 12 and 13. Ten franchises were separately informed by BCCI about this two-day event but it will happen at a time when India has an upcoming match against West Indies as well - meaning there could be some scheduling conflicts between the Indian Premier League Auction schedule and international fixtures on their tour plans for season.
However , according Cricbuzz report released recently quoting officials from both organizations who are involved with bidding process says “they assure us that these cannot affect any aspect related specifically.
The news that the auction and match will go ahead as planned, has made us all very excited!.
The news of the match and auction coming together has been confirmed by an anonymous franchise official.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is holding a pre-auction briefing on February 11. The event will be attended by franchises as well, and they are asked to send representatives if possible so that player enrollments can go smoothly at the upcoming IPL Auction scheduled February 12th and 13th with coronavirus cases rising again causing some concern over staging it all here anyway due this year's potential third wave looming large too - though nothing has been confirmed just yet about where or when exactly these matches might take place following next month’s Final outcome.
The eight franchises were earlier asked to confirm the list of players they want to retain with an upper limit up four.
For some big names in the IPL 2022 retention were released by franchises. These players might either stay with their original team or go up for auction, depending on how well they perform during bidding and other factors like injuries (if any). Some notable stars that could be available include KL Rahul; David Warner who has struggled to find his form after coming back last year; Rashid Khan an 18 year old leg spinner which is sure to make teams salivate over him! If there's anyone out of contract at this point then you can bet your bottom dollar others will want them too - especially given India’s lacklustre performance so far...
